Sustainable Salons

At Hair Nerd we are a Sustainable Salon. This means we go that extra mile to reduce our carbon footprint, and recycle as much waste as we possibly can. By supporting such ethical practices you will find a $3 green fee attached to your bill. Both the team and Mother Nature thank you for your support.

Deposits

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for all new clients and all online bookings to secure your appointment, which can be conveniently paid over the phone or bank transfer or online when making your online booking. Please note that your booking is not secured until we have received your deposit. 

 

For all Colour Correction appointments, a $250 non-refundable deposit is required.

 

On the day of your appointment, your deposit will be deducted off your final bill.

 

All deposits are non-refundable. 

Reschedule and Cancellation Policy
 

If you wish to cancel or reschedule less than 48 hrs before your appointment, we take 50% of the booking cost as a cancellation fee.

 

If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 24 hours before your appointment, a 100% cancellation charge will be incurred.

 

If you don’t show up for your appointment, we have no way of trying to fill your spot so you will be charged 100% of the service cost. We send out confirmation texts 7 days in advance.

 

If you can’t attend an appointment due to unforeseen sickness (including covid) we will require a copy of a medical certificate in order to consider waiving any cancellation fees.

Late Policy
 

Clients who arrive 20+ minutes late to their appointment time will be charged 100% of your appointment value and will need to re-book.

 

We understand that life is hectic, things sometimes happen that are out of our control, and we run late on occasion. However, please understand in our industry our entire day is dependant on accurately allocated appointment slots. Late start-times unfairly jeopardise the remainder of the clients and services booked after you and ultimately really hurt small businesses that offer 1:1 premium services like ours.

Adjustment Policy
 

We do not offer a “change of mind” redo service. However, we do want to ensure all of our guests are 100% satisfied with their service. Please contact us within ten days from your original appointment date to adjust any issues free of charge.
